The common high alumina brick and the phosphate bonded high alumina brick are both refractory bricks with high alumina content. However, there is also much difference between them.
1.The production technology, sintering temperature and kiln type the bricks used for are all different for both of the high alumina brick and phosphate bonded high alumina brick.
2.High alumina brick is formed by high pressure and sintered at high temperature. The refractoriness under load of the high alumina brick is high, especially the the super high aluminum brick with Al2O3 more than 80% . The high alumina brick can be widely used in blast furnace, hot blast furnace, glass kiln, electric furnace top, carbide furnace wall and other high temperature industrial furnace .
3.Phosphate bonded high aluminum brick, is a kind of high aluminum that is impregnated in phosphoric acid solution and then it is baked at low temperature. After phosphoric acid impregnation, the refractoriness under load increased from 1520℃ to 1570℃.After impregnation with phosphoric acid, the porosity decreases obviously, the bulk density increases, and the flexural strength also increases a lot. After phosphoric acid impregnation, the linear change rate of phosphate bonded high aluminum brick also decreases from +1.67% to +0.495%.
4.Phosphate bonded high aluminum brick is a low temperature sintered brick. It is a chemical bonded high aluminum brick and it is fired at a 500-600C temperature. The refractoriness under load of phosphate bonded high aluminum brick is not very high, about 1350 ℃, but the abrasion resistance is high. The phosphate bonded high aluminum brick is mostly used in the transition belt, cooling belt, grate machine, kiln head cover and other parts of the rotary kiln.
Cunse can provide both high quality high alumina brick and phosphate bonded high alumina brick. Our super phosphate bonded high alumina brick can be made with Al2O3 80%.the linear change rate can be +0.501%.
